Rock Stars Spotlight: Lauri Jo’s Southern Style Canning

For a small, family-owned and operated business from a town of 800 people, Lauri Jo’s Southern Style Canning has made big waves. Not only are their products represented in 42 states, they also export products globally to countries such as the Bahamas, Canada and Trinidad.

The secret to Lauri Jo’s success is her home-style approach to canning: everything is home-grown, small batched and sealed with love.

Lauri Jo’s has been featured on the television show Small Town Big Deal and multiple times in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. This year they will be represented at the Sunbelt Ag Expo, an agricultural-based trade show that showcases the best aspects of North America’s farms, in the Family Living section from October 20-22, 2015 in Moultrie, Ga.

Stay tuned for the next installment of our bi-weekly series highlighting the 2013 Small Business Rock Stars.
