Rock Stars Spotlight: FactoryMation

When people think “Small Business,” their minds conjure up images of homey, ma and pa stores in sleepy towns that grew out of a family recipe for apple pies or crispy pickles. FactoryMation is Small Business Rock Star of a different mold.

Russ Sanders, President of FactoryMation, built his automated industrial controls company on the foundations of excellent customer service and same day shipments. What started with a 7500 sq. ft. operation has expanded to 62,000 sq. ft. with continuous growth of 15-20 percent annually since 2005.

With 95 percent of their sales originating out of state, FactoryMation is a prime example of thriving Georgia business. In the past three years, FactoryMation has brought 40 new jobs to the Cherokee Country.
